About the project
Poor Designers Club is a community and educational initiative created for young graphic designers taking their first steps in the creative industry. The project responds to topics often left out of formal design education – such as pricing, contracts, negotiations, and working conditions – by creating an open space for honest conversation and practical learning.
The idea grew directly from the needs we observed and experienced ourselves as students preparing to enter the profession. Through a series of small-scale meetings, talks, and workshops, Poor Designers Club aims to break industry taboos, support transparency, and strengthen a local network of emerging designers. By keeping the format accessible, collaborative, and free of charge, the project encourages knowledge-sharing, peer support, and confidence in navigating the realities of professional design work.

Identity & copywriting
The identity uses a bold, deliberately unpolished language built from rough graphic elements and ugly typography, reflecting the idea behind Poor Designers Club.
Memes, money references, and blunt, ironic slogans are central to the tone of voice. It’s a self-aware, humorous approach: no budget, no pretending – only sharp ideas, wit, and attitude always turned up to the maximum.
