About the project
Rite of Passage is a personal, photographic zine reflecting on the moment of entering adulthood. The project captures emotions that accompany transformation – uncertainty, excitement, hesitation, and self-discovery. Through layered images and tactile interventions, it explores the relationship with the body and its surroundings, focusing on moments suspended between what has been and what is yet to come.
Rather than documenting a single event, the work forms a quiet ritual: a sequence of fragile states that together compose the experience of growing up.
